Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2024
This policy explains how Unity Innovations handles information connected with this website, direct inquiries, and marketing strategy and customer retention consulting engagements.
1. Who this policy covers
Unity Innovations is a Denver-based consulting business providing marketing strategy and customer retention planning services. This policy covers information handled in connection with the public website, communications sent directly to the business, and information shared for a consulting engagement. It also describes the privacy choices built into this website.
Different activities involve different information. Reading a public service description is different from emailing a project brief or sharing an agreed report during a consulting project. We aim to request information that is relevant to the particular activity and explain why additional information is needed. A signed project agreement may contain further confidentiality and data-handling requirements for that engagement.
2. Information you choose to provide
If you contact the business directly, the information may include your name, company, email address, phone number, professional role, the subject of your inquiry, and the content of your correspondence. Project-related information may include business objectives, promotional plans, communication materials, aggregate performance reports, and other materials agreed as part of the scope.
Please provide aggregated or de-identified reports where possible. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, government identification numbers, health information, or a complete customer database through the website guide or inquiry form. If a project requires access to information that can identify customers, the purpose, permissions, transfer method, and handling responsibilities should be agreed before that information is shared.
3. How the website forms work
The inquiry and feedback forms included on this website check the fields you complete and display a confirmation message. They do not transmit your entries to Unity Innovations, deliver an email, create a customer account, book a project, or publish feedback. The confirmation is a completion notice only. Your entries are not saved by these forms for a later visit.
If you want the business to receive an inquiry, use the contact details at the end of this policy to communicate directly. A form acknowledgement does not subscribe you to marketing, authorize advertising tracking, or enter you into a consulting agreement. Please do not interpret a completed form as acceptance of a proposed scope, payment, or delivery date.
4. The website guide and technical information
The Unity assistant is an automated website guide. It answers questions from a limited set of company and service information and can help you open a website section or select a service in the inquiry form. Its current conversation is held in the active session and is not sent to an external AI provider. The guide does not evaluate confidential customer data and should not be given sensitive information.
The hosting platform may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as network addresses, device information, request details, and security logs. These platform operations are separate from the confirmation-only forms. The custom website components do not include optional advertising or analytics trackers. If other tools are introduced, their purposes and privacy effects should be described before they are enabled.
5. Why information is used
Information received directly may be used to understand an inquiry, clarify a proposed scope, communicate about a project, prepare agreed consulting deliverables, maintain business records, issue or reconcile invoices, and address questions or disputes. Information may also be used where needed to protect the business and its systems or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Client-provided performance information is used for the agreed review or planning task. Recommendations should be read together with the limitations of the information supplied. We do not treat an ordinary project inquiry as permission to contact your customers, upload your customer list to advertising platforms, or use your records for unrelated projects.
6. Disclosure and service providers
Relevant information may be shared with service providers supporting business communications, document storage, accounting, or an agreed project, to the extent needed for the particular activity. Access should be limited to people and providers with a legitimate business need, and confidentiality or processing terms should be used where appropriate to the relationship.
Information may also be disclosed when required by a valid legal obligation, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect rights and address misuse. Unity Innovations does not sell inquiry information or use the website forms to create advertising audiences. Client materials are not published as a case study or testimonial simply because they were supplied for consulting work.
7. Storage, retention, and security
The website remembers your privacy choices using essential browser storage for up to 180 days. That record contains the optional categories you accepted or rejected and the time of your choice. It is separate from the contents of an inquiry or assistant conversation. If storage is unavailable, the controls can still operate for the current session, although your choice may not persist.
Business correspondence and project records received directly may be retained while needed for the engagement, recordkeeping, legal obligations, or resolution of a dispute. Retention depends on the purpose and the relevant obligations; this policy does not promise that every record will be deleted on the same schedule. Reasonable safeguards should be proportionate to the information involved. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can reject optional analytics and marketing through the banner, adjust individual categories in Settings, and reopen Privacy choices from the footer. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent you from reading company information or using the confirmation-only forms. The site does not treat continued browsing as consent to optional tracking.
Depending on your location, the applicable law, and the capacity in which you interact with the business, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, or restrictions on certain uses of personal information. These rights are not identical in every jurisdiction and may be subject to exceptions. Contact the business to make a request, describe the information concerned, and provide a reasonable way to verify the request without sending unnecessary sensitive documents.
Where an applicable privacy law provides an appeal process, you may ask for review of a decision and may have the right to contact the relevant regulator. Global Privacy Control is respected by keeping optional marketing off when the signal is detected. The business does not use the website components to sell personal information.
9. Children, external services, and updates
This website is intended for adults seeking business consulting information. It is not designed to solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to the business, contact us so the circumstances can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken.
Services supplied by hosting, communications, or other providers may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices. This policy describes the Unity website components and the business activities discussed here; it cannot describe every service someone may use independently. If information practices materially change, the policy should be updated and any notice or choice required by applicable law should be provided. The update date is shown at the top of this page.
10. Questions about information handling
When contacting Unity Innovations about privacy, identify whether your question concerns website preferences, direct correspondence, or a consulting engagement. Include enough context to locate the relevant record, but do not include confidential customer information unless a secure and appropriate method has been agreed. A request to change a website preference can also be made directly through Privacy choices in the footer.
The contact details below can be used for privacy questions and rights requests. The website message form remains confirmation-only, so a privacy request is not delivered merely by completing that form. Use direct communication if you need the business to receive and act on your request.
